Almond Frangipane

Sweet, creamy and ultra delicious Frangipane. It can be used in many different ways such as a filling for pies, tarts, croissants, danish or breads. Almond lovers will LOVE this addition to your bake. This recipe makes enough for two 8-9 in tarts.

Ingredients
  

  • 115 gr Unsalted Butter room temperature
  • 115 gr Sugar
  • 115 gr Almond Flour
  • 2 Tbls All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract
  • Pinch Salt

Equipment

  • Food Processor w. Blade Attachment

Method
 

  1. In food processor, add almond flour, all-purpose flour, sugar and salt. Quickly mix to combine.
  2. Add butter and pulse until small chunks form.
  3. Add the extract and egg and mix until fully combined. Use as directed in another recipe.
  4. You will only need 1/2 of this mixture for one pie. Wrap up half and refrigerate for later use.
